Accompanying the CV, in no more than 500 – 750 words, is to be a response to the following challenge.
"Chester is a provincial city steeped in history with a strong visitor economy. It acts as a key hub for employment being at the geographical centre of the wider Mersey / Dee district. The challenge for The Chester Renaissance, a public/private initiative, is to create a vision, engage all sectors, build a coherent plan and implement a wide programme of improvements using both public and private finance, to make the City a must see European destination by 2015. How would you address this challenge?"
Interviews will take place over two days in Chester on 25th/26th September and will include a presentation by shortlisted candidates on their response to the above challenge.
